Ann Cutbill Lenane

President & Co-Founder
Ann has worked and lived almost entirely on the Upper West Side since moving to NYC in 1982. She is a hardworking, divorced mother of two daughters and Douglas Elliman’s #1 Manhattan Broker, earning her the nickname, "Annie Gets it Done". In response to the sanitation crisis that her neighborhood was facing, she co-founded ONE BLOCK in August of 2020. She is so proud of how her community has come together to problem-solve and is deeply committed to helping with other issues that our city is facing. Ann also a big supporter of God's Love We Deliver, runs a summer literacy camp with EEO Bahamas for children with learning issues on the island of Eleuthera and founded Wise & Wonderful Women to educate and empower women (50 and older) through free dinners and various speakers. Kevin McNeilly moved to Manhattan from Chapel Hill, NC during the pandemic to be with family. She was appalled by all the trash on the streets and started volunteering with ONE BLOCK where she met Ann. Kevin enjoys spending time in Riverside Park with her dog, Luca, and her new grandson, Atlas.


Melinda Thaler is a longtime UWS resident, lawyer and has raised her three children here. She is securities arbitrator for FINRA and a volunteer lawyer representing victims of sex trafficking and domestic violence. At age 52, she took up running and has run the NYC, Chicago, and Berlin marathons.


Megan Martin is a long time resident of the UWS and a board certified anesthesiologist. She is the mother of two little girls and a labradoodle. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, playing tennis, and attending Broadway shows. She is president of the West Side Community Organization.


Ellen Shell has been a resident of the UWS for nearly 30 years. She runs a boutique human resources consulting practice called ERSNY Consulting focused on operations and growth strategies for small to mid-sized businesses. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, wine education, and NYC’s arts & culture.
